I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of a variety of anxiety disorders and OCD. I particularly enjoy working with children, adolescents and their families. I received my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Colorado. I attended the University of Denver and received my Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I completed an APA-accredited internship at the University of Denver’s Health and Counseling Center. I graduated from the Trichotillomania Learning Center’s Professional Training Institute focusing on CBT-Based Treatment for Trichotillomania & Skin Picking Disorders. After graduate school, I have been dedicated to working in private practice with individuals with anxiety disorders. Two guiding principles of my life and work as a therapist are being honest and direct, and making meaningful improvements. Suffering is not necessary in life and I find gratification in helping individuals reduce their suffering and finding more meaningful ways to live. I believe in using only effective and evidence-based strategies for helping people overcome anxiety. I take a behavioral approach to therapy and have been trained in exposure-based treatments for anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. I am a Colorado native and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. I began skiing from a young age and I love the winter. When not skiing, I enjoy rafting and camping in the summer. I have a yellow lab who I love and bring with me everywhere. As a former basketball player, I enjoy watching the Denver Nuggets.
